We feel exhilarated to announce the twin victory of AVN Sr. Sec. School’s female staff and Physical education teacher, Mr Rahul Chaudhary in the ” Tug of War” and “Volleyball” respectively. The events were organised by the Sansad Khel Mahotsav (20th to 22nd May, 2022) under the 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Tug of War was organised in the Sports Complex, Sector – 12 , Faridabad.
The event highlighted the Women Empowerment showcased by the school teachers . The school coach Mr. Rahul prepared the team players Ms. Rajvati, Ms. Amarjeet, Ms. Neelam Tiwari, Ms. Kusumlata, Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Nisha, Ms. Reeta, Ms. Rashmi Aggarwal, Ms. Sunita Yadav, Ms. Richa,Ms. Sarika and Ms Shilpa excellently.They defeated the team of K.L. Mehta College in the semi-finals. They were rewarded with the cash prize of ₹ 21000/ .
Volleyball Matches were conducted under Sansad Khel Mahotsav ( 20th to 22nd May) in Satyug Darshan Vidyalaya ( Bhupani ) wherein 30 teams participated. Mr Rahul, playing with the Uttarakhand Sports Club team, won the match by defeating Banchari Village Volleyball Team with the score ( 18- 25, 21- 25). The team was rewarded with the cash Prize of ₹ 31000/-.The teams were honoured by the Chief Guest Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar, the member of the Lok Sabha, Ms.SeemaTrikha, member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly and Mr.Mool Chand Sharma,Haryana Cabinet Minister. The Chairman of our school Mr. Deepak motivated the team players on the ground. The members of the management, Mr. Manoj and Mr. Hari Om Sharma, was on the spot to encourage the team.
It was really a proud moment for the AVN fraternity to see the incredible achievement of the versatile teachers. The Executive Director, Ms. Ishita Jain and the principal of the school, Ms. Sunita Khullar congratulated the winners and appreciated their hard core efforts.
