Malnutrition continues to hinder the potential of millions of children in India. This scenario can be changed with teamwork. To spread awareness regarding nutrition and its importance, CBSE guided and instructed the schools to organise various activities throughout the month under the program, “RASHTRIYA POSHAN MAAH”. A.V.N Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, Faridabad is following all guidelines and celebrating it with zest and zeal. To make this successful, students participated in different discussions on malnutrition, its impact on society and value of healthy and balanced diet. Physical and mental health workshop was conducted along with slogan writing and distribution of Nutrition Kits. Activities such as Poster making, Signature Campaign was also done to involve maximum participation and make the programme a “Jan Andolan”. Every Avnitie participated in these events whole heartedly.
