A.V.N senior secondary school Faridabad has organised an educational visit to Rotary Blood Bank sector 9 Faridabad for the students of class VIII, IX and XI grade on 9/5/24 Thursday. The major objective behind the visit was to empower quality technical education and promote research and development activity ensuring all around development of students.
Students were guided by Dr. Anju Gupta chief medical officer at rotary blood bank about how various activities related to blood banking, blood collecting, blood storing and human issuing are carried out in blood bank.
They learn how a single unit of whole blood can be separated in 3 different components such as Plasma, platelet, and RBC and can save lives. The students asked questions/queries to the guides and they answered all of them. The students were very happy after this visit and they got ample knowledge about Blood banking and the guidelines given by them are really very important for their future
aspects.
