AVN Senior Secondary School, Faridabad observed a week-long celebration from 8th August to 10th August,2022, to commemorate the 75th year of Indian Independence. It was packed with several events.
The tiny tots of the school, the Pre – Primary and the Primary students dressed in white attire and savoured a tri- colour food activity on 8th August. They enjoyed a craft activity on 9th August. On 10th August, tiny tots flaunted in tri- colour dress and entertained everyone with their rhythmic dance steps.
On 8th August, the students designed a tri- colour wall hanging along with a unique art and craft session and got engaged in a tri- colour food activity on 9th August. Some selected students presented wonderful rhymes in a special assembly on 10th August to mark the occasion. A group of talented students staged a role play in the special assembly. Students presented a spectacular dance performance too.
The pupils of the Middle Wing showcased their ability by reciting Hindi Patriotic poems in the school auditorium on 8th August. On 10th August, the budding chefs exhibited their culinary skills by participating in an activity ‘Cooking without Fire’. They also impressed everyone by their general knowledge in an informative Quiz. The Senior Wing also didn’t lag behind. They enthralled the school by projecting their capabilities through poem recitation, song, speech and dance performance in the special assembly. These young enthusiasts took out a Rally holding the Indian flags with pride along with their teachers. Thus the whole school observed the grand occasion with honour and sublimity.
